Just Published – The biochemical characteristics of wear testing lubricants affect polyethylene wear in orthopaedic pin-on-disc testing

Researchers at the Orthopaedic Innovation Centre (OIC) have just had a paper published by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in the Journal of Engineering in Medicine.  The paper is titled ‘The biochemical characteristics of wear testing lubricants affect polyethylene wear in orthopaedic pin-on-disc testing’ and the abstract can be found here.

As previous winners of the 2013 Institution of Mechanical Engineers Thomas Hawksley Gold Medal Award, the researchers at OIC are always on the cutting edge of what matters in the industry.
